NOTE: MotoReplay is still in the conceptual stage.
What is MotoReplay?
MotoReplay is a place where motorcycle enthusiast can share and compare closed course data acquisition+video sessions. It is our goal to use a universal data/video exchange format so that any data acquisition and video capture device can be used for sharing track sessions.
What is MotoTracks?
The MotoTracks track library is a collection of roadrace courses along with their positional coordinates for the coarse as well as coordinate references for the start/finish line and corner entry/apex/exit locations. The track library information is then used within MotoReplay as a common reference for comparing laps from the same or different sessions. New tracks can be added to the track library by The Community as needed.
What is a MotoRecorder?
This is the hodgepodge collection of hardware devices that we came up with as an inexpensive data acquisition and video capture system with a small form factor for motorcycles. Features include 5hz GPS, 640x480 video, three axis accelerometer, eight 12bit analog data acquisition channels, rechargeable battery, and SD memory card storage.
What is a MotoPlayer?
This is a web-based application that is used to play back a recorded session and review the logged data. There is a downloadable version of the application that can be run on a laptop while at the track. The downloadable version lacks the ability to compare sessions with other MotoReplay community members if their sessions were not previously saved on the computer that you are running the application from.
